Maisarah's Latest Antics

It's been awhile since I blogged about out little Princess. Below are some latest things that she can do.

1. She can say the names of the cars based on their logos. This is thanks to her Abah and Habib (my dad). Both men are car enthusiasts and since her grandfather likes expensive cars, Maisarah must also know them all.

2. She also knows our handphone types, i.e. Mommy has a Sony Ericsson, Abah has a Nokia, her Baba (my mom) has a Samsung and her Habib used to have a Motorola.


3. Shah just bought her a sticker book and she can identify which sticker is to be placed in a slot if we help her by hinting on the striking features of the item. For example, she needs to find a sticker of a 'strawberry' so we tell her to find the 'strawberry' and show her where to put it and she wil paste it neatly. If it is not placed nicely she will take it off and try to paste again. I guess her hand-eye coordination is quite well developed.


4. She can sing the A-B-C song from start to finish albeit with some missing letters (especially near the fast part of 'L-M-N-O-P'). But she is impatient and sings too fast that sometimes we can't make out some of the letters. Before you know it she is already singging 'Now I know my A-B-C, next time won't you sing with me'.


5. She also likes to talk very fast. I guess her mind works at a faster pace than her mouth so she only starts a sentance and then quickly says the last few words. For example, once she wanted to say 'Kak Som tukar pampers and baju' but instead she said 'Kak Som tukar pam-ju' where 'pampers and baju' had been shortened. Usually, we understand what she is saying but at times we don't. Once, Maisarah spoke too fast and Shah asked her to repeat the sentence several times. She got fed up and finally said 'Abah tak faham!'.


6. Maisarah has a cute dance which involves her swaying her butt. She calls it 'golek bontot'. So whenever we want her to do so we will say 'Maisarah golek bontot sikit'.

Well, I guess that's all the I can recall. Maisarah is growing up really fast and we can't keep up. She always amazes us with her antics.
