Remember my previous post. Well, we gave Maisarah UHT milk in her usual bottle on Thursday last week but she didn't like it. So the next day, Kakak gave her my EBM (expressed breastmilk) in the bottle. Lo and behold, she refused to drink the EBM! If we gave her UHT milk she would refuse even more. Ever since last Friday she won't drink my EBM. Based on Ira's suggestion, we bought chocolate flavored UHT milk last weekend. She seemed to like it but wont drink more than a small box a day. So that means her milk intake during the day time is around 3 - 4 ounces only. None of it is breastmilk. She will only get her fix of breastmilk when I am at home. Today I asked Kakak to to add some Milo powder to my EBM but Maisarah wont have any of it.
The only thing I haven't tried is soy milk. So this afternoon I might just stop by the shops to get some. I am a bit worried about her calcium intake. But at least she still drinks a lot when I am with her. I think her need for breastmilk is not quite satisfied at night because lately she has been asking me for milk in the morning when I am about to leave for the office. I want to give her more but I can't because I'll be late for work. I hope she will start drinking milk during the day. Please pray that she does.

maisara mesti da pandai minum dari cawan @ sippy cup kan? y not try masukkan susu uht yg bperisa (coklat a big NO! NO! pd Amsyar, xsedap katanya) dlm cawan mcm dia minum air kosong lps mkn nasi tu... so dia mungkin akan pk itu bukan susu tp air yg ada perasa...
Dah cuba dah bagi EBM dalam cawan tapi dia still tak nak. Maybe lepas ni nak try susu strawberry jugak macam Lia. Harap2 dia suka la rasa strawberry tu.
i penah juga try bagi tasneem minum susu UHT(strawberry) tu, bagi dalam kotak je tp dia xnak, mula2 minum sikit, lepas tu main je lebih.
kadang2 i minum fresh milk pagi2, ada jugak bagi kat dia. pastu dia buat muka pelik sambil pandang susu tu dalam cawan. hahaha
tapi soymilk mmg tasneem suka. kadang tu kitorg beli kat pasar malam, bg dia minum. separuh cawan tu dia boleh minum.
tapi, sorry anisa, i x boleh nak bagi suggestion cemana nak tolong becoz tasneem since stop bf, dia mmg minum fm sampai sekarang. So far, dia mmg xde msalah nak minum susu, kadang tu dah minum 9oz, mintak tambah lagi. hehe
er... try bagi soymilk. and try bagi dalam kotak.
maisarah tolak ebm?? hmm.. selalunya dia ok aje kan? direct feeding ok ke? tp org ada kata, kalo preggy, mmg susu ibu jd x sedap.. sbb dh contain colostrum.. apakah??? ;D
Hi kak anisa, rasanya its not that susu uht/ebm/ choc tu tak sedap, dia dah tau that u put other milk in the bottle.. its safer to just drink from the source.. Just be persistent, she'll take the choc/soy milk one day.. won't take long i think.. Have to admit, i stressed a lot when that happened to me. The kids.. they think they know better than you.
Nannoor: sekarang ni dia minum susu choc and strawberry terus dari kotak. Nampak macam dah ok. Harap2 continue macam ni la. Malam je minum breastmilk.
Ira: woo..anisa tak preggy. Belum ready lagi. Heheh. Entah kenapa dia tak nak ebm. Tapi kalau direct ok. So tak risau sangat la.
Didi: i try tak nak stress pasal ni. Nampak macam dia dah mula nak uht milk especially yg strawberry.
