Alhamdulillah, after about one and a half months since starting school, Maisarah has stopped crying when we send her in the morning. It started on 19 July, a day after she missed school for the first time due to fever. She still has some problems waking up in the morning but once she is up, she can't wait to get to school. She also has lots of stories from school and likes to do the homework which she occasionally brings home. Last Saturday I went to her school for their Progress Report Day. Her teachers said she is a fast learner and is also making friends at school. The teachers also said that she can remember all their names. Alhamdulillah, we are very happy to hear that Maisarag is progressing well at school and we hope she will continue to love school and learning for the rest of her life.
At the gome front, we are also entering two months living at our own place. We are now very comfortable there. Last month we were busy adding more furniture to the house. We went to Ikea and bought a cabinet to be placed near the dining table to store my future chinaware, bookshelves for the family area upstairs, a kitchen trolley for me and shelves for Maisarah's toys. We wanted to get a wardrobe for Maisarah but they were out of stock. We then wanted to get her a wardrobe we saw at a furniture shop, but the little princess was picky and didn't want it. I guess we are done with the major decorating of the house, well except for Maisarah's wardrobe. I just need to add some soft furnishing like flower vases, candles and candle stands and wall decorations. For the exterior of the house,we changed the gate and fencing by installing an auto gate system with matching fencing. What is left is to plant some grass in the small patch and get some pots with plants.
Well, I guess that is all the updates for now. I will try and take some pictures of the house to upload here for our memories.

My New Fifi
I mentioned that we had sold off my Kelisa. The reason for that is because we wanted to get a slightly bigger and safer car. I had two cars in mind; Suzuki Swift and Ford Fiesta Sport. We went to have a look at both. But my heart was favouring the Ford Fiesta Sport due to the sporty look and more modern dashboard compared to the rather boring Swift. That happened earlier in the year. And the constant Fiesta adverts shown during American Idol season 10 also helped me make my decision.
We finally made the order in May and last Saturday we picked Fifi up. I'm really loving the black colour and the leather interior. Can't wait to drive more in this car.

Almost One Month
It's unusual that tonight I get time to myself since 11 June when we moved into our own home.
My routine since then has been, wake up as earlyas 5am to iron our work clothes, clear the washed dishes from the rack, hang the washed clothes that Shahhas washed, then take my bath and perform solat Subuh. At around 6.40am, I'llwake Maisarahfor her shower and prepare her breakfast. We leave for work/school by 7.20 am latest.
Once we reach home from work, at around 6pm in the evening, I will perform Asar, cook dinner and have everything done by 7.30pm. Then, after dinner it'll be clean up, folding the clothes and by 9.30 I'll make sure Maisarah gets to sleep. That also means Shah and I go to sleep too. There is no time for TV or relax.
That's why tonight is different, Maisarah is asleep and I am not. i'm also writing this while watching A movie on HBO (which is a rerun and the rrason for me not really paying attention to the movie). Shah is out to pick up his parents from the airport and should be back soon.
Anyway, there has been a tremendous change in our daily activities. To others this is what they have been going through all this while. But to Me, I am still trying to cope. I am very greatful that Shah is helping a lot with the house chores. He washes the clothes, sweeps the floor and helps out with taking care of Maisarah while I cook. I am very thankful to Allah for having Shah as my husband. He has been the best and still helping me even when he is not feeling well.
I'm now praying to Allah that Maisarah will be more cheerful after school and not being as cranky as she is now. I think it is because she doesn't take her nap at school and is very tired when we reach home. And her crankiness has been causing us all to stress up. We really need to help her learn to sleep on her own without me by her side. But how? Do you have any tips?
