Second Book for Maisarah

I sort of told Shah that it would be nice if I could give Maisarah a photobook of her early childhood (from birth to 5 or 6 years old) years when she grows bigger. Last year the photobook had pictures of her from birth to her first birthday. I made the book using Pix*art and it was small, pocket sized. For her second year, I wanted to try Photo*book. I initially wanted to go for their 'Buy One Get One Free' offer but I didn't manage to get it finished by 15th April. Shah said not to worry cause he was sure the offer would come again.

My clever hubby was right. They had another email offer for May. So, I uploaded the book to their server and made payment a week ago and waited. The book arrived a week later! It came out just as nice as it looked in the laptop. I am very happy with the book and Maisarah loves it too. I gave the second book to my mom.

Hitching a Ride to Home*dec

Yesterday was Maisarah's first outing to KLCC. The main reason we went there was because Maisarah's mommy wanted to go to the Homedec 2010 fair at the KL Convention Centre. I was hoping to get some furniture for our house. We ended up getting electrical appliances for the house and vouchers for lighting. So, we've got to head to the lighting shop in Puchong and choose lights and fans we want and get 30% discount on all our purchases.

We've got the same concept of vouchers with discount on curtains which we got in the Perfect Livin' fair we went to earlier this month. So, roughly we're 80% done with our kitchen (design to be finalised next wednesday, all appliances bought except for microwave). All bathrooms are also settled except for lightings. The living room is almost done. We just need to settle the dining room and bedroom furnitures.

Before we finalise the curtains, I'm planning to paint the living, dining and bedrooms. So, next week I'm going to ask Shah to take me to the paint shop to buy paint. Hopefully, we'll be able to sort everything out before end of June when the appliances and furnitures are scheduled to be delivered.

Anyway, after spending a fruitful one and a half hour at Homedec, Maisarah asked for lunch at KFC. Then, she had fun playing on the Barney car as seen in the picture above. Soon after her ride in Barney's car, we headed home.
